About Us

In January 2020, Irish Dance Dress to Impress was born in Limerick, Ireland with the goal of changing the experience of buying and selling Irish Dance Costumes. The previous owners, Jason and Patricia, took great pride in servicing the Irish Dance Community with 5-star status throughout the world.

As the new owners of Irish Dance Dress to Impress LLC, we aim to continue to provide a top-tier level of service to all our existing and future customers.

A little bit about us….

Irish Dance became a part of our lives in 2016. Our daughter was not quite six years old, and after attempts at gymnastics and cheer, we saw an Irish Dance showcase at a local shopping center. As part of that show, a little 5-year-old got up, in her sparkly dress with the biggest smile on her face, danced a beginner reel on the stage by herself. Seeing that tiny little girl with a huge amount of confidence was the deciding factor – Irish Dance was ‘The Sport’ our daughter wanted to participate in. Fast forward through a studio transfer, several dance-related injuries and the emotional stress that successful and less-than successful competitions can bring, she has found her home and true love with Irish Dance. We’ve had the opportunity to take her to compete in Vancouver, Orlando, and Ireland for two World Championships.  Those opportunities and memories will always be special to all of us as a family.

When the opportunity to purchase Irish Dance Dress to Impress arose in 2023, we decided as a family that it was the perfect timing for a new opportunity to continue to build a business that respects the time and financial aspects  we parents encounter in this sport.  We are so very grateful to have the chance to continue to grow Irish Dance Dress to Impress into our own thriving business.

We all know how stressful buying and selling costumes can be. Will they fit correctly? Will I get the dress in time? What shape will it be in? Will the TC approve it? It’s a lot of money to spend only to find out that the costume does not work for your dancer. Our goal is to ensure that buying or selling a costume is as stress-free as possible. We want to make sure you, as a seller, are getting the most money possible from your costume, and as a buyer, that the costume you are purchasing will help your dancer shine on stage. We hope to make these transactions successful for both the buyer and the seller.
